The house stands on a long and narrow plot, which is adjacent to a busy street on its south side. In order to solve the problem of insufficient light and to separate the interior from the traffic, we elevated the central part of the house on the southern side above the ceilings of the adjacent parts and glassed it in, and we closed the rest of the elevation, cutting it off from the street.
Material.
By selecting the right materials, we root interiors in nature. We draw on natural resources, reaching for raw materials, which become more refined with time. In our projects, you will find solid wood, natural stone, real ceramics, raw linen, fleshy cotton. Every aspect of the material is important to us: consistency, texture, structure, density, how it works with light.
